This is part 35 of my ongoing walkthrough for Pokemon Diamond / Pearl. In this video, I am participating in Pastoria City’s Crasher Wake, the master of water Pokémon. Wake should not be too difficult to defeat if you have the right kind of Pokemon are his values really the same as Maylene’s should not, so that too much of a problem. Finding his weaknesses are the most efficient way to beat him. Gyarados level 27-Sole-Dragon-Rage-Bite Swagger (Weak to Electric, Rock) Level 27 Quagsire-Mud Bomb-Slam-Tail Whip-Mud Sport (Weak to Grass) Level 30 Floatzel-Ice Fang-Sole Pursuit-Swift (Weak to Electric, Grass) After the victory over Wake to get you the Fen Badge, the fourth badge in the Sinnoh region, allow it to use Defog outside of battle. As a bonus to reward, gives you TM 55 for Wake Sole, move to a pretty good type of water.

This is part 33 of my ongoing walkthrough for Pokemon Sapphire. In this video, we battle the fifth gym leader Norman. Slaking Lv. 28 -Faint Attack -Yawn -Slack Off -Facade Vigoroth Lv. 30 -Slash -Faint Attack -Fury Swipes -Facade Slaking Lv. 31 -Focus Punch -Yawn -Slack Off -Facade If you dont approach this battle correctly, youre in for a nightmare. My advice is to power your Pokemon up while facing the first Slaking. Stat boosting moves work great, and X items work wonders. Heres how the X item strategy works. 1) Use X defends for the first 3-6 turns 2) Use X Attack/X Special for 2-6 turns 3) Destroy everything!!! This isnt the only way to beat Norman, its just the most convenient if you have under leveled Pokemon. If you have high leveled evolved Pokemon, you can probably just approach this battle regularly and be fine. Any steel/rock type will work great in this battle. If you have something like a Skarmory, send it out. Slaking cant touch rock and steel types and you will have no problems at all. After defeating Norman you will receive the Balance Badge and TM 42 (Facade) After the battle head over to Wallys House and you can get HM 03 (Surf) I will be recording more so stay tuned and subscribe!

This is part 30 of my ongoing walkthrough for Pokemon Sapphire. In this video, we battle the fourth gym leader Flannery Slugma Lv. 26 -Overheat -Smog -Light Screen -Sunny Day Slugama Lv. 26 -Flamethrower -Rock Slide -Light Screen -Sunny Day Torkoal Lv. 28 -Body Slam -Overheat -Attract -Flail If you chose Mudkip this battle will be very easy. If you didnt, you may have some trouble. Water types work the absolute best, if you dont have them you will have a rough time. The 2 Slugmas arent too threatening, but they can make the battle worse for you in the long run by using Sunny Day and Light Screen which will help out Torkoal. If you can quickly kill the 2 Slugmas, youre in good shape. With Torkoal, the best strategy is sending out un-needed Pokemon to take Overheats. Each time Torkoal uses Overheat its special attack will be lowered. Once its lowered enough, send in your strongest special attacker to finish it off. After defeating Flannery you will receive the Heat Badge and TM 50 (Overheat) Just after leaving the Gym we run into May who gives you the Go-Goggles. These will help you get through the desert sandstorm area. I will be recording more so stay tuned and subscribe!
